Description: |
This sculpture of Oscar Robertson was first modeled in clay, then a mold was made before it was cast in plaster. It shows Robertson at the height of his career, when he played in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks. He began his basketball career in Indiana by leading Crispus Attucks High School to the 1955 state championship, the first time an all African-American team had won. |
