This is just one of the bones that made up the spinal column of the long neck dinosaur Apatosaurus. These dinosaurs could grow up to seventy feet long and weigh up to twenty tons. They lived during the Jurassic, about 213 to 144 million years ago, in what would become the states of Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, and Wyoming. |
