Huey helicopter toy made from recycled materials

Description: Toys made from recycled materials have developed into an art form all their own in many parts of the world. Sometimes, children make them to play with. However, often times, teenagers and adults create them to sell to tourists or to distributors of international folk art. This model Huey helicopter was made from Coke cans by a Vietnamese street artist named Mai Thai Dai in 1994 or 1995. The Coke emblem gives it Western appeal while its helicopter form serves as a souvenir for visiting war veterans. It was carefully and skillfully made. The two propellers even spin when turned!
