Description:	Rachel Foster Averys tribute to Susan B. Anthony (Aunt Susan) to be read at her 70th birthday party which was organized by May Wright Sewall: To my Valentine.. an eloquent statement to the most utterly self forgetful, the most forgiving and tenderhearted woman I have ever known. Despite a great age difference, Rachel Foster Avery and Susan B. Anthony were close friends who worked together for many years in the cause of womens suffrage.Rachel Foster Avery was Corresponding Secretary of the National Woman Suffrage Association and later Recording Secretary then Auditor of the NAWSA.
