Letter from William T. Stead to May Wright Sewall.

Description: I agree with you on the desirability of internationalizing the world rather than Americanizing it. It is a tough old world and there are a great many people in it who will be very indigestible materials for any great political octopus. You do not say anything concerning your psychic experiences, whether they continue or whether you have time to pay any attention to such things of late?Founder and editor of English Review of Reviews. Nominated for the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1903. Devoted himself to international peace and friendship with Russia. During the later part of his life he became interested in the occult. He went down with the Titanic while on his way to speak at the Great Men and Religion Forward Movement in Carnegie Hall.
