Description:	This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Incinerator stopped up and smoking at 901 Locke Apt 557. 2) Garage fire at 1536 N Oakland. 3) Heart patient at 730 N Doorman. 4) Fireman advises dispatcher that an accident victim is being taken to General hospital. 5) Caller trying to locate Edward Arndt. 6) Caller complains about a neighbor burning trash near her garage. 7) Medical emergency at the Harbor Light, 26 S Capitol. 8) Caller locked herself out of her apartment at 706 Blake Apt 152. 9) Report on medical incident at 26 S Capitol. 10) Diabetic emergency at 633 Locke, Apt 36. 11) Unconscious man at Victor Furniture, 231 W Washington. 12) Sick woman at Northside Nursing Home, 2037 N Illinois. 13) Broken leg at Warren Central football field, dispatcher passes call to Warren Township fire department. 14) Operator calls to report a call where a woman said shed taken an overdose of sleeping pills.
