Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Report on medical emergency on Overstreet. 2) Discussion about firebox maintenance issues. 3) Medical emergency at 2007 N LaSalle. 4) Wires smoking at 2454 Pearson. 5) Refrigerator exploded at 1101 W 47th St 6) Medical emergency at 31 N Bolton. 7) Caller asks about dog licensing, dispatcher advises her to call police department. 8) Gold Seal Pest Control company advises they will be doing a fog-out at 819 Roach. 9) Girl having trouble breathing at 644 N Haugh. 10) Captain Stallion asks about the fire at 210 N Randolph, will send a few units over to assist. 11) Caller two blocks of Arlington High School at 6050 Lone Hall Dr. asks who she should call in case of emergency. Dispatcher advises her that since shes in the city they should call Indianapolis. 12) Medical emergency at 352 S Audubon Rd. 13) Report on smoking flue at 210 Randolph. Recording ends at 12:40 PM.
