Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1. Woman beaten 2225 Coheen 2. Fire on 21st Street by railroad tracks 3. Talk about changed in street name from Worges to WIllard 4. Fire at 2846 N. New Jersey 5. Fire at 29th and Washington Boulevard 6. Beverly Reed calling for 201 Washington Court, possible false alarm. 7. Unconscious lady at 307 East 23rd 8. Cat on roof of two story house at 62 Riverview job. Later canceled. Must wait until morning because they don’t do cat calls after dark. 8. Possible heart attack 4627 Carvel. 9. Church at Belmont and Morris ambulance request canceled.
