Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1. Fire at 28 East 16th street. 2. Advice about burn, don’t put butter on it. 3. Ambulance to 300 S. College 4. PI at 200 S. College 5. Burned man at 325 W. Raymond 6. Shell station gas needs washed away at 30th and Lafayette Road, Engine 30. 7. Unconscious woman White River and 30th. 8. Salt and Sand order for 30th and Lafayette 9. Ambulance to 611 N. Penn Apt 8
