Pre Womens Day at the Crispus Attucks Museum, 2009

Description:	Members of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church held a special pre-Womens Day event and tour at Crispus Attcks Museum in Indianapolis on September 5, 2009. Attendees toured the museum and had a treasure hunt learning about members of Bethel who were also involved with Crispus Attucks High School. Some earlier Bethel members who were also teachers mentioned in the program are Lucy Belle Dupee, Merrimon Hansbery, Stella Woodall, Hazel Jackson Hutchinson, and Ethel Ransom Kuykendall. The Bethel A.M.E. Church Collection was funded by a 2016 grant from LSTA. The digital partnership was a collaboration between IHS, IUPUI University Library (www.ulib.iupui.edu/digitalscholarship), and Bethel A.M.E. Church.
