Harrison informs Tiffin that the legislature of the Indiana Territory has banned the sale of intoxicating liquors to Native Americans in the territory, although the law cannot go into effect until neighboring states Kentucky and Ohio and the territories of Louisiana and Michigan legislate a similar law.
