These original cut silhouettes of President-elect William Henry Harrison and his family were created by by August Edouart. The silhouettes were created on February 20, 1841 at McCockrans, located at F Street near 13th Street in Washington, D.C. Pictured in the image (left to right) are Harrisons son John Scott Harrison, seven-year-old grandson and future President Benjamin Harrison, daughter Anna Taylor, William Henry Harrison, and his wife Anna. William Henry Harrison less than two months later while in office. |
