Harrison, William Henry, Cincinnati, to Robert Perry, Covington, Kentucky

Description: Harrison certifies that during the siege of Fort Meigs in May 1813 he directed that all provisions descending the Auglaize and Miami Rivers be stopped and deposited at Fort Winchester to keep them out of the enemys hands. He also certifies that in April 1813 he commandeered the boats that Robert Perry was building to deliver flour to Fort Meigs in order to transport troops.
