Harrison reports that the military force under his command has beaten General Proctors British and Indian forces in a battle near Moravian Town in Ontario, Canada. He states that he has only heard of one American officer, Colonel R.M. Johnson, being wounded in the battle. Armstrong, John, 1758-1843 This battle is commonly known as the Battle of the Thames.
