Description:	Harrison reports that the military force under his command has beaten General Proctors British and Indian forces in a battle near Moravian Town in Ontario, Canada. He states that he has only heard of one American officer, Colonel R.M. Johnson, being wounded in the battle. Armstrong, John, 1758-1843 This battle is commonly known as the Battle of the Thames. Tecumseh is believed to have been killed during the battle. Transcription of letter is located in Box 3, Folder 2, of the collection.
