A Flanner House Breakfast honors Dr. and Mrs. William L. Mellon. As a young man, Dr. Mellon entered upon a career of business and finance, but in 1948 inspired by the life of Dr. Albert Schweitzer, decided to devote his life to medical science and service. Mrs. Mellon, a medical technician, works beside him in ministering to the ill. With the approval of the Haitian government and through his own industry, Dr. Mellon has constructed, equipped, and staffed the million and a half dollar 75-bed Hospital Albert Schweitzer at Deschappelles, Haiti. 8.5 x 11 inches http://www.indianahistory.org/contact/contact.asp |
