Dr. Cleo W. Blackburn, Executive Director of Flanner House and the national Board for Fundamental Education (center) stops for refreshment during a reception held in his honor at Flanner House. Dr. Blackburn was honored in recognition of his being awarded the Doctor of Humanities Degree by Indiana Central College, later renamed the University of Indianapolis.
