Indiana Society of Architects Semi-Annual Convention, Indianapolis, 1920

Description: Group portrait of the Indiana Society of Architects at their semi-annual convention in Indianapolis in 1920. The men and women are posed in front of the Sunken Gardens at Garfield Park. Each architect has signed his or her name on the bottom of the photo and number 34 is Robert Frost Daggett (1875-1955), designer for Indiana, Purdue and DePauw Universities, as well as Butlers Jordan Hall. The son of Robert Platt Daggett (1837-1915), he was the second member of a three-generation legacy which shaped the face of Indianapolis with their designs for schools, hospitals, universities and the Lilly company.
