Field in Terre Haute Awaiting Construction of Sheridan Park Subdivision

Description:	View of the the construction of the Sheridan Park subdivision, located Northeast of downtown Terre Haute. It Includes a view of 27th St. looking East. Consisting of mostly bungalows, 323 lots were opened for sale in 1922. This made Sheridan Park the biggest of numerous development project going on in Terre Haute in the early 1920s. The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. Interpositives are stored in PAN number order.
