In 1909 the United States Brewmasters Association held their 21st annual conference in Indianapolis. The convention was held at the German house and had a local committee of brewers that were responsible for the arrangements of the convention. A representative of the U.S. Department of Agriculture addressed the 600-700 person convention on the topic of Valuation of Hops. Albert Lieber, president of the Indianapolis Brewing Company, gave the feature opening day address. |
