Indianapolis Skyline Taken From the Roof of the Lincoln Hotel

Description: This view of downtown Indianapolis was taken from the roof of the Lincoln Hotel, a flatiron building located at the corner of Washington Street and Kentucky Avenue. Looking east on Washington Street and south on Illinois, the streets are filled with interurban trains, automobiles, and pedestrians. South Illinois Street is to the far right and the spire of Union Station can be seen in the distance.
The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. The interpositives are stored in PAN number order.
