Description: |
Members of the Hebrew Christian Alliance of America are seen here during a conference meeting in Indianapolis. The Hebrew Christian Alliance began in Great Britain in 1866. By 1915 the Hebrew Christian Alliance of America was founded by Arthur Kuldell. The group, described as Jewish believers in Jesus as the Messiah, is now called Messianic Jewish Alliance of America. The location appears to be the south lawn area of the Roberts Park United Methodist Church located at the corners of New Jersey and Vermont Streets in Indianapolis. The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. The Interpositives are stored in PAN number order. |
