Arsenal Technical High School, Circa 1910

Description: View of students milling about the Arsenal Technical High School campus. Some kids have bicycles and chairs can seen strewn about as if there was an outdoor speaker or other event. The school, commonly known as Tech High School, became the third city high school in 1916. Located at 1500 East Michigan Street it was used as a school in 1904 when the grounds of a federal arsenal were purchased for use as a technical training school. The school is still in operation today.
