Description: This diary of James S. Davy was kept during the year 1865. Davy served in the 47th Indiana Infantry Volunteers, Company C, in the Civil War from 1861-1865. During his time in the Civil War, he kept an account of his daily life.
These Civil War materials have been loaned for digitization to the Indiana Historical Society.
