Description: A striking view of Montgomery County Courthouse was etched for this pre-1917 postcard scene. William Buntings astounding brick and sandstone edifice was built in 1876, though its massive front tower was partially removed during the 20th century.
Message on postcard reads: Monday Morning. Uncle John passed away this morning at 1:30 funeral Wed. afternoon at 2 oclock - Maybe you can come down with Braze or Martins or come on the car. Call down if you can. Send word to Bob & Janice. Grace
