Aerial View of Noblesville, Indiana

Description: Noblesville was founded in 1823 and probably named for James Noble, the first U.S. senator from Indiana. The current courthouse was completed in 1879 and heated by steam, which was considered progressive at the time.
Message on postcard reads: Dear Chas. We are about ready to close up our Trade here, so wish you would get the books and accts. that I am interested in shaped up so we can have our final settlement. I will try and get over next Tue. or at Pendleton at least. Get all those accts. that I have a share in together - that have been paid, in to you. Am getting along O.K. Yours Truly Frank. Postcard addressed to: Chas. N. Hardy, Markleville, Ind.
