Lindley Hall, Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana

Description: Built in 1887, Lindley Hall at Earlham College housed the campus library before the structure was gutted by fire in 1924. Like many other Richmond buildings, it reflects the Romanesque revival architecture popular in the 1880s and 1890s.
Message on postcard reads: Hagerstown Feb. 13 1910 Dear Son I thought I drop you a few lines to let you know I am having a fine time and enjoyed my visit very much Wish you could come over. Mama Postcard addressed to: Mr. Otto Mencke, 1417 Neuma St., Indianapolis, Ind.
