The historic American Central Life Insurance Building was built in 1875. It was commonly referred to as the Insurance Building. Along with the Indianapolis Water Company headquarters, the building was demolished in 1958 to make room for the new Fidelity Bank Building. The building was located at the corner of East Market and Monument Circle. |
