Description: |
View of East Main Street in Brownsburg, Indiana. Brick buildings line both sides of the street. A group of men are gathered at the corner. Three horse-drawn vehicles make their way along the dirt road. A memorandum included with the postcard states that the picture used for this postcard was taken in 1903. Main Street was not paved until 1927. Notation on back of postcard indicates that this image was used by the Indinapolis Star Magazine for the Back When section on June 19, 1966. |
