River Bridge, Rushville, Indiana

Description: Three generations of Rushville’s Kennedy family built covered bridges in southeastern Indiana in 1870-1918, with the peak being 1881-1884. In Rushville they built two of the village-style bridges, which had walkways on both sides of the roadway.
