B & O Depot, North Vernon, Indiana

Description: North Vernon was laid out in the 1850s as Tripton. It had previously been known as Lick Skillet. The Ohio & Mississippi Railroad built a branch there in 1868. It was this line that was taken over by the Baltimore & Ohio, whose depot is shown here.
