Columbia Hotel Bomb Scene, Montpelier, Indiana

Description: A 1923 strike forced two Montpelier factories to bring in strikebreakers and house them at the Columbia Hotel. On January 9, 1924, strikers detonated a bomb outside the hotel, injuring one. The factories closed and the unemployed strikers left town.
