Spencer County, Indiana Courthouse and Library, Rockport, Indiana

Description: Rockport became the seat of Spencer County in 1818. The current courthouse was built in 1921 and is the county’s fifth. In October 1844, Abraham Lincoln delivered a speech in the third courthouse on behalf of Henry Clay, the Whig presidential candidate.
