Mills Fountain, Thorntown, Indiana

Description: One of Thorntown’s famous sons, Brigadier General Anson Mills, financed the construction of two fountains on Main Street in honor of his parents. As a soldier and inventor, Mills had many varied accomplishments, including platting the city of El Paso, Texas.
