Description: Document is a letter presumably intercepted by Zebulon Pike, describing General Anthony Waynes and others recent movements as well as that of the military in the Northwest territory.

Document is unsigned and author is unknown. Author uses the same code names employed by the unknown author of a previous letter to Baldwin on July 10, 1796. Red wax seal still in place and covered with a piece of paper.
