Conrad Furniture Store grand opening, April 1949

Description: A large crowd gathers on a street corner at night and spills into the street near a two-story commercial building with large plate glass window. The store is well lit allowing furniture, pianos, and other items to be seen on display inside the store, particularly on the upper floor. A few people can be seen inside the store also, some of whom are looking down at the crowd. A musical group performs for the crowd on a raised platform outside the stores ground level entrance. The band includes an accordion player, guitarist, fiddler, drumer, keyboardist, vocalist, and an upright bass player.
