Description:	The Griffin family, Thanksgiving 1973. This was the last Thanksgiving for the entire Griffin family to spend in the Porter-Griffin House. Seated on the sofa in the center is Daniel P. Griffin, the last surviving child of Patrick and Helen Porter Griffin, and the last Griffin to live in the Porter-Griffin House in Corydon, Indiana. Surrounding him are his three nephews - Henry, Tim, and Fred Griffin, children of Dans brother Maurice - and their families. Henry Griffin is seated at right on the sofa holding two young children. His brother William Maurice Griffin Jr., better known as Tim, sits on the sofa at left, and the youngest brother, Fred Griffin, stands in the back directly behind Tim next to the window. Following Daniel P. Griffins death in 1975, the Griffin family allowed the State of Indiana to acquire the property to manage as a historic site.
