Talmage Windell repairs a school desk

Description: Talmage Windell repairs an old fashioned wood and cast iron school desk in the Corydon Grade School, Corydon, Indiana. Tools, including a hammer and a hand-held drill, lay on the desktop. The words Fashion and Sidney, Ohio, appear in the cast iron desk supports. A large globe sits on the adjacent teachers desk. Windell served as the engineer of the Corydon Grade School building and performed maintenance and repair work on school equipment.
