Description: |
A man holds up a form for the 1960 census and asks a woman if she gave it to the census taker. The woman replies that she didn't answer the door because she thought it was an April Fools' Day joke. They are standing inside a house near a closed door. The man has picked the census form up from a bookcase. A small boy tugs on the man's coat and holds his hand out for a package the man is holding. Knecht's elephant is carrying a chair; he tells readers that they should invite census takers in to sit down while they take down information. Image Access WideTEK 25 My-oh! My--!
