Attention Zoological Park Directors. We are interested in purchasing your excess stock of birds, monkeys, raccoons, and other small animals. There is now quite a food problem confronting the public, and I have been approached by a large wholesale butcher in New York to ask zoological parks for surplus deer, buffalo, elk, goats, sheep, antelope, as well as such fowl as pheasants, ducks, and geese. Fowl would be shipped alive, but the other items would be slaughtered by a local butcher, bled and gutted, inspected by a Government inspector, and shipped to us by refrigerated freight. You will do the hungry populace a great favor by selling your surplus animals for meat. Kindly send us your list of such items, together with your best prices. Mesker Zoo. What a hunk of grease Id make.
