An employee at the Rickers gas station on Memorial Street in Muncie, Indiana was murdered during a robbery on December 16, 2004. The murder was allegedly committed by Ronald A. Hatfield, a convicted criminal who was released from jail in August 2004.; A volunteer firefighter with the Chesterfield-Union Township Fire Department and his dog were killed by a fire near downtown Anderson, Indiana. The fire was caused by an improperly installed wood-burning stove.; Weather. This archival material has been provided for educational purposes.
