A four month-long investigation into local distributors of MDMA landed a local resident in the Wayne County Jail.; Over 1000 new jobs have been created or will soon be created in Muncie, Indiana. A planned new office for the SLM Corporation accounts for the majority of the new jobs. Recent store and factory openings in the area have created hundreds of jobs as well.; A bill in the Indiana General Assembly would put an end to wine-tastings at small wineries in Indiana. Many owners of small wineries object to the bill, claiming that purchases related to wine tastings account for much of their business.; A new housing addition being built in Lapel, Indiana could more than double the population of the small town.; The Delaware County Election Board has adopted a new electronic voting system.; Weather.; Members of the Delaware County Sheriffs Department will be serving at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Muncie, Indiana on February 15, 2006.
