Description: Some identity thieves have been rigging card slots at local gas stations and ATMs, in hopes of stealing information from customers cards.; Indiana ranks 35th out of the 50 states in public arts funding. Some local organizations are trying to find ways to increase public arts funding.; First graders who attended full-day kindergarten have better scores in multiple subjects than first graders who attended half-day kindergarten, according to statistics released by Marion Community Schools in January 2006.; Some members of the Marion Fire Department would like to include the names of veterans of the Vietnam War on a town monument. The monument currently lists the names of veterans from other wars, both before and after the Vietnam War.; Weather.; Fifth graders from Westfield Elementary School in Muncie, Indiana are staying involved in the life of a classmate who has been diagnosed with cancer.; Northside Elementary School in Hartford City, Indiana won the Governors Fitness Award for the second year in a row. INShape Indiana and the Indiana Governors Council for Physical Fitness and Sports jointly sponsor the GFAs, which honor schools that show a commitment to health and exercise.
