Repairs to the chilled-water lines at Ball State University forced Bracken Library to shut off its air conditioning. The temperature fluctuations inadvertently caused minor structural damage to Bracken Library.; Recordings from the Star-Gennett Studios in Richmond, Indiana are being restored. Star-Gennett Studios was involved in many famous recordings during the early days of the recording industry, before closing in 1934 due to the Great Depression and competition from live radio.; Weather.
