Interurban Car (Union Traction Company) at corner of Broadway and Smith Streets. Notice buildings: Lower left, replaced with a service station and later the Village Pantry, across the street is a house that is believed to have been moved to Cornbread Rd. This house is still standing and was home to the Ellis family for many years. Across the street is a two story building occupied for many years by grocery stores. The second story was an apartment burned off many years ago. Lower corner is an unidentified business. This corner is currently occupied by the Memorial Park.
