Notes taken by Victor Lawhead while he was aboard YMS-145 and involved in Project Hula. Project Hula was a program through which United States naval vessels were transferred to the Soviet Union in anticipation of the Soviets joining the war against Japan. The project took place in the Cold Bay during the spring and summer of 1945. This archival material has been provided for educational purposes.
