Samuel Richards letter to William Archer

Description: Richards is in the Austrian Alps. He was commissioned by the wife of someone he met in Munich two years ago to do some painting. He is determined to succeed and complete his dream of being a successful artist. He does not think he will ever return home but dreams of seeing everyone again.
Samuel Richards was an Indiana born artist. Born in Spencer, Indiana in 1853 to a lawyer father and gifted mother.
