1990s womens dress

Description: Audrey Lewis
Full length gown made of printed green fabric. It is screen printed with designs of white clouds, pink flowers, hills, towns, and seated figures. The dress is sleeveless and fully lined. The bodice is fitted with diagonal seams to give it a faux wrapped appearance. The skirt is straight and ankle length.
The Early 90s carried a lot of influence from the 80s. In the early 1990s, fluorescent color and neon colors were still very popular. The color palette of this decade included lots of blues, greens, oranges, pinks, and yellows. Another thing to note from this time period is that skirt/dress length moved into fashion consciousness again. Short skirts were still considered the standard length until designers began to reintroduce longer styles. That is why the 90s is so full of ankle length dresses. Lastly, from the nineties to today, the Internet has led to a great usage of screen print. Since the 90s screen print has become the modern way of adding logos and decorations on clothing.
