1890s womens bodice
| Description: |
Golden yellow bodice with a pointed Basque waist, standing collar, and long slim sleeves with puffs at the shoulders. The garment is shaped with boning and is tailored with darts, pleats, and princess seams. The front and center back have inset panels of gold and yellow striped brocade. The same brocade covers the cuffs and is sewn on as ruffles around the shoulder seams. A row of metal buttons closes the garment down center front.
