1890s womens cape
| Description: |
Simple black cape. The only decoration is a band of ruffled trim around the collar. It fastens at the neck with hooks and eyes and black satin ribbons. Cape Black Solid Waist length High collar Hooks and eyes; Ties Center front closure Ribbon Gathering Lining Condition notes: Holes and rips in fabric. The lining is starting to pull away from the hem in the front of the garment. This archival material has been provided for educational purposes.
