Avon Railroad Station located near Dan Jones Road (800 E.) 1/4 mile south of U.S. 36 (Rockville Road). William N. (Willie) Barker is 4th from the left. He was telegrapher with C.C.C. & St. Louis Railway from 1882-1933. William Barker was born in 1865 and died in 1933. He was the son of William Riley and Louisa Hurin Barker, brother of Jennie Barker Blair, Lewis Barker, and Minnie Barker Parsons. |
